EDEN Gallery Dubai reveals a tapestry of artistic mastery.
Delve into a majestic celebration where the desert's mystique harmoniously intertwines with contemporary art's vibrancy, featuring the masterful creations of Veronique Guerrieri, Eddy Maniez, Daniel Gastaud and Alec Monopoly.
Véronique Guerrieri is a sculptor born in Boulogne Billancourt, France in 1954. She studied at both the École du Louvre and the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Her imaginative works range from small pieces to monumental sculptures, aiming to keep the inner child alive. She often uses simplified shapes recognizable to the viewer and creates her sculptures using plaster. Guerrieri has collaborated with leading international artists and helped create the world's largest sculpture in 1994.
As a self-taught visual artist, Eddy Maniez imbues his sculptures with life and energy through the use of color, line, and movement. Employing silicone dots and sparkling Swarovski crystals, Maniez creates one-of-a-kind pieces. Each silicone dot is placed by hand, and sealed with a selection of radiant crystals, resulting in a unique artistic process and stunning final product. Maniez's bold and vibrant works are a feast for the senses, inviting the viewer to lose themselves in a world of color and movement.
Daniel Gastaud's canvas comes alive with vibrant strokes of color, creating a masterpiece that is a fusion of pop art, conceptualization, and various techniques. Featuring a bold use of color, his paintings often showcase a single predominant hue set against darker shades, creating a striking contrast. Gastaud's talent has been recognized internationally, with his artwork exhibited in countries such as France, Belgium, Bulgaria, the United States, Greece, and China. Currently based in the vibrant city of Paris, Gastaud continues to produce thought-provoking paintings that showcase his exceptional artistic vision.
Alec Monopoly, a globally acclaimed graffiti artist, is celebrated for his vivid and impactful street art. His unique style has earned him international acclaim, making him a standout figure in the art world. Known for his boundary-pushing creativity and promotion of individual expression, Monopoly's work frequently incorporates iconic characters like Uncle Pennybags and Richie Rich. He employs bold and innovative techniques to explore themes of opulence and extravagance. Beyond providing a critique of contemporary pop culture and satirizing capitalism, Monopoly's art also prompts its audience to reflect on how these elements shape modern society.
