2019 was a year of amazement with art exhibitions around the world and new collections wowing international audiences. Here is our year in review!

Art Exhibitions - Mykonos Eden Gallery

Floating in Mykonos

In an artistic endeavor never before attempted, Alec Monopoly showed off his skills by painting live atop a floating sculpture in Mykonos! This year Alec Monopoly traversed the world with art exhibitions in major cities everywhere, sharing his latest creations in graffiti paintings and innovative sculptures, from Mykonos to Miami, he did it all! But nothing compared to the opening act at $PF Monopoly, an exhibition that transformed Eden Fine Art and all of Psarou Beach into a Mykonos-worthy club! Monopoly arrived at the party on a helicopter that he had painted himself earlier in the day. Then, as spectators gathered on the beach, Monopoly live-painted the largest floating sculpture that the Greek Islands has ever seen! Learn more about this spectacular undertaking here!

Carnevale Di Accardi

Angelo Accardi

Angelo Accardi

Eden Fine Art brought a taste of Italy to SoHo, New York City with Angelo Accardi’s latest collection inspired by his homeland. Influenced by classical Italian styles and culture, he continuously references icons of fine art, while juxtaposing imagery from pop culture, creating a familiar yet dreamlike ambiance. This surrealistic universe of Accardi’s art got given a new lease of life, as the gallery space was transformed into a whimsical world, inhabited by a mix of characters from his paintings and adoring art enthusiasts. This culminated in the creation of a life-size painting where guests had an opportunity to be photographed alongside the artist and his imagined characters. Read about it here!

F&G Art Exhibition

F&G

F&G introduced Pitchou this year. Their latest sculpture inspired by a cute term of endearment in French was made monumental and spread across the island of Mykonos. To kick-off, this epic endeavor Eden Fine Art threw a day-time extravaganza where the artist painted mini-sculptures alongside their mini-fans, in an art event for all ages. ‘Smells Like Toon Spirit,’ allowed art aficionados to introduce their children to the world of fine art, as they admired the latest works of F&G under the gleaming Mykonos sun in an embodiment of the light and playful spirit of the new collection itself. Summer Love

SN introduced his newest collection, ‘Summer Love,’ to international audiences with his inspirational art exhibition in Mykonos! SN’s unique work takes inspiration from the fashion world and often depicts well-known celebrities, such as Kate Moss, that embody our modern ideals of aesthetic beauty. Combining a mixture of mediums, he embellishes his art with striking, neon butterflies and angel wings, pushing further the godly status these figures inhabit and transporting us into SN’s fantastical experience. He merges themes of the natural world with human concepts of perfection, highlighting the different ways of perceiving sublimity. View his latest works here!

Garden of Eden

This year started off in celebration of two exemplary artists. Dorit Levinstein and Yoel Benharrouche showcased this year’s new collections in Eden Fine Art Gallery in London. The exhibition allowed both artists to explore themes of Eden both present and past. The event saw the gallery space morph into an exciting labyrinth of plants, sculptures, and natural imagery.

Art Exhibitions

Yoel Benharrouche’s abstractions and calming earthy tones perfectly captivate the spirit of Eden and the interior decor of the exhibition. His collection emitted a peaceful air that charmed the audience. You can learn more about the Garden of Eden here!

Inspired by her childhood home near the desert, Dorit Levinstein masterminded another beautifully bright collection, but this time depicting the resilient cactus. Levinstein pays homage to her passion for fauna through her signature use of patterns enveloping a twisting, continuous line to create her unique sculptures. The artists’ succulent garden is inspired by the plant that endures that harshest conditions, a resilience that is relatable to many audiences. Explore Levinstein’s new artworks here.
