Which Day Is Celebrated as International Artist's Day?
Art is a part of our daily lives. We see it on the sides of buildings and in our local coffee shops. Beauty and creativity boost our spirits, convey important messages, and are a reflection of current cultural trends. Art is often hidden in plain sight, in architecture, interior finishings, background music, and even city landscaping. The hard work that artists contribute to add beauty to the world around us can often go unnoticed, or underappreciated. This is why every year on October 25th we celebrate International Artists Day!
It all started with a Canadian painter named Chris MacClure. Born to a musician and a playwright, MacClure never questioned the importance of art in all its forms. In 2004, the romantic realism painter initiated a day to honor the contributions that artists make to society.
The Most Famous Artist in the World
The most famous artists in the world, from Picasso to Warhol, paved the way for the contemporaries of today. On this day we celebrate not only the artistic contemporaries of yesteryear but also the famed artists of this day and age.
Today, in honor of International Artist Day, we celebrate Eden Gallery’s most famous artists from around the globe.
São Paulo native Eduardo Kobra is one of the most celebrated muralists of the 21st century. Born in 1975, Kobra started working in the 90s as a poster artist by day and a graffiti artist by night. Within only a few years on the scene, Kobra left his impression on international art audiences with his uniquely colorful aesthetic that is a nod to the style of Keith Haring and Diego Rivera. Kobra's art is known for commemorating historical figures and events. He is also well-known for his large-scale works and holds the record for the largest graffiti mural in the world. Find an original Kobra that can fit inside your home here.
Alec Monopoly Graffiti
Alec Monopoly’s eye-popping works are recognizable worldwide for their depictions of familiar characters eluding to the lifestyles of the rich and famous. Notorious for his “flex” lifestyle, Monopoly epitomizes the characters that he simultaneously critiques, turning himself into a part of the narrative that is his living art. See Alec Monopoly's work exclusively at Eden Gallery here.
Angelo Accardi Painter
Originating from a quaint Italian town straight out of a storybook, Angelo Accardi grew up with a fascination for the arts. Following his passions, Accardi studied fine art at the Art Academy of Naples before setting up his personal studio. Accardi references the classics and places familiar characters in surreal settings, inspiring the audience to interact in ways not previously considered. Each of his works draws the viewer into his surrealistic world where history and the future collide. Accardi has shown his works in exhibitions and galleries worldwide. Check out Accardi's full collection here.
David Kracov Sculpture
David Kracov’s artworks transfix the viewer with a colorful reality filled with chromatic butterflies, expressions of music, and familiar characters of childhood memories. Eden Gallery celebrates Kracov’s artistic endeavors, those that are larger than life and those that will fit on your wall. See Kracov's full body of work here.
Galy 3D Artist
Combining luxury and childhood memories, the artwork of Galy interacts with viewers' nostalgia. The use of luxury brands showcases societal trends while the animated characters maintain a childish ambivalence. Galy’s provocative approach to composition lends itself to the contemporary art collector who can relate to the sentiments brought up through the juxtaposition of consumer behavior over the course of their lifetime. See Galy’s full collection here.
Dorit Levinstein Sculptor
Dorit Levinstein’s art brings with it a sense of joy and excitement to every space it inhabits. Through her art, she pays homage to the great masters of the past while portraying the aesthetic of modern styles. Levinstein’s innumerable collectors around the globe are drawn to her vibrant depictions that convert mundane forms into colorful sculptures. Explore Dorit Levinstein's work here.
It is the mission of an art gallery to allow artists to explore their passions and amplify their voices. On this day, Eden Gallery celebrates the works of all artists in our worldwide galleries. Explore our full collection of original fine art here.

On International Artists Day we celebrate hundreds of years of artists who bring joy and insight to the masses. It is the mission of an art gallery to allow artists to explore their passions and amplify their voices. Eden Gallery is proud to celebrate the works of all artists in our galleries worldwide.
